This is likely to be the second straight weekly gain for the index, the first time in nearly three months.

A concerning part though will be the sharp reaction to results which kept the market breadth awry on Thursday and triggered the broader market underperformance. The Nifty Bank closed above a key level and would now aim to cross and sustain above the 56,000 mark. Also watch for capital market names like BSE, NSE, Angel One and others after the SEBI CAS norms released last night. Also in focus would be Jio Financial, Tech Mahindra, Urban Company and others.
